Winter Base Layers
A winter base layer is little heavier than a summer base layer but serves the same purpose. It quickly wicks sweat away from the skin to help regulate your body temperature. We typically layer this under a winter jacket if the ride is going to hover around 32f / 0c or less and under a thermal long sleeve if the ride temperatures will fluctuate between 30f / -1c to 57f / 14c
Officially for temperatures around 46f / 8cView Collection
Thermal Long Sleeve Jerseys
Thermal long sleeve jerseys are our go to top when ride temperatures fluctuate. This thermal long sleeve jersey is incredibly breathable yet provides the ideal amount of shelter from the wind. It's lined with a thermal fabric and uses a micro carbon fiber outer fabric on the rear for added comfort. The J-Stability band feels amazing on the waist and the zipper provides a heavy duty grip that can be used with gloves in cold conditions. We wear these on top of the Pacto winter base layer and once our bodies warm up to riding temperature, it's truly a feeling of perfect temperature regulation.
Occasionally, if there's an unusual chill in the air at the start your ride, a gilet with a perforated rear adds an additional level of comfort. Once you're up to riding temperature remove the gilet and store in the rear jersey pocket.
Officially, the carbon line thermal long sleeves are a mens cut, but in our experience these carbon tops fit women just fine. When choosing a women's size, simply use the size calculator to find the recommended size or order one size smaller than you normally wear. The sizing is in line with other European sized brands.
We typically layer these with a winter base when ride temperatures are going to fluctuate between 30f / -1c to 57f / 14c.
